It's more than just protein…
Protein has become one of the ultimate fitness buzzwords from the past few years. But there’s lots of misconceptions about it when it comes to building muscle. Some people think that just taking protein will give them muscles, but it's not as simple as that.
That’s why we created The Strong Protein; to provide you with a product enhanced with added ingredients to build strength, reduce inflammation, and promote muscle development. Using a smart combination of research-backed ingredients, The Strong Protein puts your muscle and strength goals front and centre. Not into artificial tasting protein powders? Neither are we. This one tastes like a dream. It's a smarter way to get you where you want to be.
When will I start to see results?
This depends on your diet and exercise regime. You should be able to start feeling the results in a couple of weeks provided you keep to a consistent exercise routine and a healthy diet.
How often should I take it?
At Innermost we believe in a food-first approach. For that reason, we recommend taking The Strong Protein as part of a balanced diet ideally post-workout or during your day as a healthy snack to meet your protein needs. You should always aim to meet most of your nutrient needs through the food you eat but having a high-quality protein powder like The Strong Protein, which contains additional ingredients to support your goals can be an efficient way to help fill gaps in your diet.
Does it have a complete amino acid profile?
Yes! The Strong Protein provides a complete amino acid profile per serving as follows: Leucine (3.0g), Isoleucine (2.0g), Valine (1.9g), Alanine (1.6g), Arginine (0.7g), Aspartic Acid (3.5g), Cystine (0.7g), Glutamic Acid (5.6g), Glycine (0.4g), Histidine (0.5g), Lysine (2.9g), Methionine (0.7g), Phenylalanine (0.9g), Proline (1.7g), Serine (1.5g), Threonine (2.1g), Tryptophan (0.4g), Tyrosine (0.8g).
Can I take creatine with The Strong Protein?
Whilst The Strong Protein does contain creatine, you can increase your intake – especially if you’d like to have a loading phase. You should also take creatine on days you’re not having The Strong Protein to ensure you’re getting your recommended daily dose.

Get stronger every day
With so many “miracle” ingredients being touted out there, it can be hard to know what really works. We believe evidence-based ingredients are the best way to better health. With decades of clinical studies behind these active ingredients showing how they can help increase muscle and strength, reduce inflammation and speed up recovery, we're confident that you’ll thank us later.
Protein (34g): The building block of bones, muscles, hair, skin, and nails, this blend of dairy-based whey concentrate and isolate contains all the essential amino acids your body needs for repair, recovery and muscle development. References >1, 2.
Casein: A slower-digesting protein that, when combined with faster-digesting sources of protein, encourages optimal protein uptake and absorption over time. This lends itself to improved muscle growth and repair. References > 3, 4.
Creatine Monohydrate (3g): Research has shown that creatine can improve strength, increase lean muscle mass and help muscles recover more quickly during exercise. This muscular boost can help achieve increased bursts of speed and energy, especially during high-intensity activities such as weight lifting or running. References > 5, 6.
Montmorency Cherries (300mg): A sour cherry containing high levels of anthocyanins that have powerful anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce damage that may occur during exercise. There is also increasing amounts of research looking at how they can offer relief from arthritis and osteoarthritis. References > 7, 8.
Bilberries (250mg): Belonging to a class of natural bioactives with wide-reaching health benefits, including improving cardiovascular health, glucose control and inflammation. These dark berries are rich in antioxidants and resveratrol, which are seeing increased use for their purported anti-aging properties. References > 9, 10.
Magnesium (200mg, 47%*): An important mineral that contributes to electrolyte balance and normal energy-yielding metabolism. It is required to regulate blood pressure, keep bones strong, and the heart rhythm steady. Adults who are deficient in magnesium are more likely to have elevated inflammation markers, which in turn, has been associated with serious health conditions. References > 11, 12.

Why it's special
Protein is a macronutrient that’s necessary for healthy muscles, skin, nails and bones. Whey protein concentrate and isolate are loaded with the essential amino acids that your body needs to build muscle mass efficiently. Casein, a slower-digesting protein, is another great source to boost muscle growth and aid recovery.
Montmorency cherries and bilberries are both active ingredients that are high in antioxidants, with anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties. With these nutritional qualities, the bioactives found in The Strong Protein can ease the body’s recovery process while promoting better cardiovascular health. They belong to a class of ingredients with wide-reaching health benefits.
Magnesium and creatine monohydrate are effective ingredients with properties that help your body maximise physical performance and recover efficiently. Magnesium is necessary for energy creation, protein formation and muscle movements, while creatine monohydrate increases strength, power and muscle endurance.
When should I use the product?
Ideally, post-workout to start the repair and recovery process. However, you can also use it to make a quick nutritious shake or smoothie anytime of the day, or in your porridge or oatmeal to top up your daily protein intake. The protein blend is also versatile enough to bake into high-protein snacks.
How long will the product last?
This depends on how often you use the product. Typically a pouch of our protein blends will last around a month or so. If you're using it every day and also adding it to porridge and smoothies, you may run out sooner. We have a subscription option, which saves you money and ensures you'll never run out.
What does it taste like?
All our protein blends come in either creamy vanilla or smooth chocolate. We spent months perfecting the flavour systems to create our own completely custom flavours that you won't get anywhere else. The flavours are characterised by complex layers of vanilla and cocoa, with subtle notes of caramel and biscuit. We only use natural flavours and you can adjust the sweetness down or up by using more or less liquid.
What sort of testing do you do?
We go over and above to ensure you get the best quality and safest products possible. We only use ingredients that have a visible supply chain, and our manufacturing facilities are approved to the highest regulatory standards. Once we receive ingredients, we batch test every single one before it gets approval to go into the manufacturing process. That isn’t technically an official requirement but it’s something that we think should be.
