    By Shivraj Bassi

Robyn is the red-headed northern lass with the big hair and an even bigger personality that you'll have seen if you've dropped by our partner studio 1Rebel for a workout. There's even a smoothie named after that you can grab after your workout from the 1Rebel bar. We sat down Robyn to find out what makes her tick... we have a feeling it might be cheesecake!

"I was 19 and didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. I've always loved people, music and moving, and my mum randomly suggested I would be a good Zumba instructor! Despite not having any knowledge of the industry I got a job in sales for a mainstream gym and went to every class and trained with every PT to learn as much as I could. The experience totally changed me. I loved the sense of community in a group fitness class, the support network, the challenge and the purpose it gave me. Although I never did train to teach Zumba, my mum was right and fitness is definitely my calling!"

    Favourite Innermost products?

The Fit Protein is perfect for the tough classes I run at 1Rebel. It tastes amazing, and the ingredients help the muscle repair process and get you feeling back on top. The Energy Booster is brilliant for giving you that extra energy for your workout. There are a bunch of people at 1Rebel who swear by it!

    What's your hustle?

I am a 1Rebel Master trainer and concept manager for “Ride”. My workouts will be tough but I’ll encourage you not to take it too seriously, to enjoy your body and the Rebel community around you. Hopefully you’ll leave sweaty but smiling.

What does #liveinnermost mean to you?

Always be true to yourself and lead the life you want to live.

What do you do to maintain a healthy lifestyle?

I try not to put too much pressure on myself as I don't want it to become obsessive. I train five days a week and I eat food that is good for me around 80% of the time. I try not to overthink it. I move my body and I generally eat good food to fuel it well. Simple.

    Usual breakfast?

Eggs and avocado - very #fitspo of me!

    Biggest health vice?

    Cake, cake, cake, cake.

    Your last workout?

Reshape this afternoon at 1Rebel with fellow trainers Esmee and Daniel.

    What’s on your bucket list?

To do the Rickshaw Run. It's a team race across India in tuk-tuks. You wouldn't ever have guessed that one!

Where do you see yourself in three years? Be bold!

I'm a very "in the moment" person so this is a hard one for me! I would love to live in another country at some point so maybe that'll be on the cards!

What's the favourite thing about the city you live in?

I’m a massive foodie so I absolutely love that I’ve lived here for 6 years and there are still amazing restaurants that I want to try.

    Favourite healthy meal?

My Monday night special is my "Lazy Prawns". Prawns, veggies, green pesto, feta and voila.

    Favourite decadent meal?

Ooooft where do I start! I love a Sunday roast and I'm a big dessert girl. Cheesecake all day long!

Most physically challenging thing you’ve done?

I climbed Mount Kinabalu in Malaysia without doing any training for it. That was before I was in the fitness industry. Climbing the top half in the cold was pretty horrible.

    What or who motivates you?

My husband. He always believes in me and pushes me to be the best I can be.

    Message to the world?

Be you and don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.

What would we be surprised to find in your fridge?

My teeth moulds. I use them to whiten my teeth and for some reason, I like to keep them in the fridge!

What did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was seven, I wanted to be a tattooist, but I think I was just showing off. Then I thought an actress until I was about 20, before I realised I wasn’t that bothered... or that good!

    Favourite city and why?

LA! I just love it. Great studios, sunshine, amazing restaurants and bars. It's very me.

What is body confidence to you?

Body confidence is a big one for me. It's something I have struggled with for years but I feel like I've finally come out of the other side. Everyone has the right to have days where they criticise themselves but I feel it's my responsibility to myself and others not to beat myself up, to embrace my shape, size and motivate others to do the same.

Seeking Adventure With Zara De Haldevang
We sat down with Innermost Insider and personal trainer Zara de Haldevang to discuss the beautiful of adventure. From its importance amongst busy day to day life, to the personal impact it can have on us, and the lessons we can learn from adventuring more. Hi Zara! How did you become an Innermost Insider and what’s your goal as an ambassador for the brand? I discovered Innermost through a friend when I was desperately trying to find the right products to help me with my training and recovery. I tried about 15 different products and I have now used Innermost for 3 years and would never look back. My goal as ambassador is to help others realise that training doesn’t have to be complicated. Do not over think it, train simple, recover well.  Our topic this month is adventure. Tell us how you would define adventure and what adventure means to you. Adventure is the endless curiosity of trying to see, do and be more.  View this post on Instagram A post shared by Zee de H (@zaradeh) What's the greatest adventure you have been on? Oh I haven’t yet had it yet... So far, learning how to embrace self-acceptance. Do you think your idea of adventure is the same as others' ideas of adventure? I cannot sit around. Eight years ago I made a plan to walk a new road every day. Apart from the days I have been sick and bed-bound, I have managed to  stick to this. I also don’t believe in going to the same place twice.  Do you think adventure is important for a fulfilled life? As long as you are doing it for you, not because it is something that ’should’ be done. Use social media as a tool to research where to go, not how to do it. Screw everyone else and what they are doing. Do something extraordinary for YOU and you alone.  What motivates you to seek out adventure and explore new places? People. I was brought up abroad in Oman, Bahrain and Kenya. When you travel, in the world and even in your own country, you realise just how insignificant you are and just how much more there is to life than its mentalities.  What have you learned about yourself through your past adventure or travel experiences? Patience. You don’t have to conquer somewhere immediately. Explore more, post less. Appreciate more, gloat less.  Have you ever faced unexpected challenges or difficulties while on an adventure? How did you overcome them? I was travelling in Bali last year and had an unfortunate experience with an expat traveler. Seek help and advice when you need it, don’t overreact and remember that it is all just temporary.  What advice would you give to others seeking out adventure?  Read. Constantly read about where you want to go. This is where IG is a powerful tool and can be used as a positive advantage.  You always have the ability to travel safely.  Female travellers should use Life360 - a great app that tracks you and you can send trigger alerts in times of need. What adventures (travels, business, goals) do you have planned this year? Travel - Oman in October and New Zealand in Dec/Jan Work - Bali for a retreat in October Fitness - Croyde Triathlon in July and Iceland for The Great Norse Run in August  View this post on Instagram A post shared by Zee de H (@zaradeh) What Innermost product(s) have you been loving recently?  Which ones haven’t I?! My morning is a kefir, berry smoothie packed with The Lean Protein, The Detox Booster, The Glow Booster and The Power Booster. I can keep going for hours on this and it has really helped me smash some fitness targets this year.  Zara, it’s been a pleasure chatting with you! Our final question is... What’s your innermost desire that you’re hoping comes true this year? It’s a little vanilla but I would like to be able to sleep for more than 5 hours a night. I am on track with taking the right supplements to help me do this… and perhaps stick to my goal of 16,000 steps a day. I live in North Devon and I get in the sea every day to surf or wild dip (no wetsuit). Thanks Zara, that's a wrap! To see more from Zara, follow her Instagram here and check out her website here.
