This recipe was created by Lottie who is a self-confessed banana addict. It ranks as one of her favourite recipes in the world and despite the fact it tastes exactly like creamy ice cream, it's incredibly healthy and, in Lottie's own words, simply "mmhhhh!"
Bananas contain essential nutrients, and have benefits for digestion, heart health and weight loss. The Lean Protein is our superfood protein blend developed to nourish and tone. Nuts contain lots of good fats and nutrients to keep your body ticking the way it should.
Preparation: 10 minutes
Ingredients / Serves 1:
- 2/3 frozen bananas, the riper the better!
- 1 cup Plenish almond milk
- 1 scoop of any Innermost protein blend
- Toppings: strawberries, dried fruit, berries, coconut chips, mixed nuts
Step 1: Put all the core ingredients (saving one banana for Step 4) into a bowl and let stand for 5 minutes.
Step 2: Take a hand blender and blend it all into a thick mixture. If you own a blender, then better use that to do the magic.
Step 3: As soon as you have a nice and creamy swirl of deliciousness, scrape it into a bowl.
Step 4: Sprinkle on the toppings, and arrange the banana and strawberry slices as shown in the picture. Then enjoy it all before it melts away!
