You can't get enough protein as a vegan…
People go crazy for protein. But there are many misconceptions about it when it comes to being vegan. When we think of protein, most of us think of meat. And if you’re a vegan, you’ve probably heard it all before: “But surely you can’t get enough protein without eating meat?”
Well the answer is simple. You can. When devising The Health Protein, we wanted to clap back at the haters and show them how it’s done. So we’ve used a powerful combination of pea and brown rice protein. Brown rice contains all 9 essential amino acids, while pea protein is the closest plant-based protein to a complete amino acid profile. By combining both together and then enhancing it with antioxidant-rich berries and Japanese medicinal mushrooms, we give you the best-tasting, ultimate vegan protein that has your health at its heart.
Is this a meal replacement?
Our protein blends are not designed to be consumed asa meal replacement, but instead as a healthy addition to a balanced diet. They’re great as a post-workout refuel to start the recovery process - or just whenever you’re feeling peckish! If you’re looking for something filling that keeps you going until your next meal, consider blending up a protein smoothie with some healthy fruit and vegetables. Sign-up to our email newsletter and we’ll send over some recipes.
How often should I take it?

Not only vegan and thus more sustainable, but it combines traditional sports nutrition ingredients such as protein with nootropics and adaptogens. These are essentially herbal pharmaceuticals, which work to counteract the effects of stress in the body that are known to harm the neurological, endocrine, and immune systems. It's also one of the few high-protein vegan protein powders that doesn't taste like sawdust.
It's got it all, so you don't get it all
With so many “miracle” ingredients being touted out there, it can be hard to know what really works. We believe evidence-based ingredients are the best way to better health. With decades of clinical studies behind these active ingredients showing how they can help strengthen your immune system, improve overall health, support muscle repair and speed up recovery, we're confident that you’ll thank us later.

Why it's special
Protein is a macronutrient that’s necessary for healthy muscles, skin, nails and bones. A combination of brown rice protein and pea protein makes up the perfect amino acid profile, allowing your muscles to repair, recover and develop at an optimal level. Glutamine is an additional amino acid that protects the immune system to provide stamina and strength.
Bilberries, camu camu and acai berries are active ingredients that are high in antioxidants, with anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties. With these nutritional qualities, the bioactives found in The Health Protein can ease the body’s recovery process while promoting better cardiovascular health. They belong to a class of ingredients with wide-reaching health benefits.
While medicinal mushrooms have been studied and utilised throughout history, they have recently attracted popularity due to their nutritional benefits. Shiitake mushrooms are being studied as a treatment for viral infections, Maitake mushrooms have been shown to prevent illness, Reishi mushrooms help the body deal with stress and Cordyceps have renowned antioxidant and antibacterial properties.
When should I use the product?
Ideally, post-workout to start the repair and recovery process. However, you can also use it to make a quick nutritious shake or smoothie anytime of the day, or in your porridge or oatmeal to top up your daily protein intake. The protein blend is also versatile enough to bake into high-protein snacks.
How long will the product last?
This depends on how often you use the product. Typically a pouch of our protein blends will last around a month or so. If you're using it every day and also adding it to porridge and smoothies, you may run out sooner. We have a subscription option, which saves you money and ensures you'll never run out.
What does it taste like?
All our protein blends come in either creamy vanilla or smooth chocolate. We spent months perfecting the flavour systems to create our own completely custom flavours that you won't get anywhere else. The flavours are characterised by complex layers of vanilla and cocoa, with subtle notes of caramel and biscuit. We only use natural flavours and you can adjust the sweetness down or up by using more or less liquid.
What sort of testing do you do?
We go over and above to ensure you get the best quality and safest products possible. We only use ingredients that have a visible supply chain, and our manufacturing facilities are approved to the highest regulatory standards. Once we receive ingredients, we batch test every single one before it gets approval to go into the manufacturing process. That isn’t technically an official requirement but it’s something that we think should be.

Bought this as I can't eat dairy products so a lot of protein products aren't viable. It's easy, very tasty, has consistency and is a great thing to drink after a gym session or a long cycle ride. I didn't get the chocolate one as I have a sweet tooth and it would just perpetuate my cravings.
Personally, I'd rather they didn't include the plastic scoop as it's bad for the environment. Who doesn't have a metal spoon of their own they can use?
I have tried many in the past and for the past 4 years innermost has not let me down for sure! (Just my bad diet!)
Delicious taste and texture - best vegan protein i have tried.
Amazing taste (I got the vanilla flavour), I notice my energy levels are more consistent throughout my day since I've started incorporating it :)
Does what it says on the tin. Good protein powder, good taste. I mix the chocolate one with oat milk and it's like a tasty milkshake. Makes it easy to hit those macros!
Highly recommend! Since going vegan I struggled to find a good vegan protein powder that blended well and didn't taste sickly, and finally I've found one! The vanilla is my favorite, and it's such a natural taste.
